"Home as a Feeling: Lives in Svenljunga" is a documentary that looks at what it means to feel at home through the experiences of three residents: Yuliia, Erhan, and Zeinab. These individuals share two important things in common: they call Svenljunga home, and they are also immigrants who had to leave their countries due to wars and crises.
The film takes viewers on a journey from the harsh realities of their pasts to lighter moments, like learning Swedish and their hopes for the future.
The documentary features four languages—Swedish, English, Arabic, and Turkish—with Swedish subtitles to make it accessible to everyone. The documentary is gonna be published on the Svenljunga Kommun site on the 11th of April 2025.
