Projektbeskrivning
Good Boy is a children's book written by my brother, Nicola, and illustrated by me. It is a straightforward tale well-suited for a younger audience focused on a stray dog, and propelled by a strong theme that explores how the underprivileged in our society are shunned and often driven to extreme actions to survive, making it endearing and appealing to older audiences, too. It is dramatic, humorous, scary, exciting, uplifting; the kind of dark story we would have loved as kids. The project has been developed with each illustration reflecting the rhymed lines on the page, and although it has not been assembled into its full printed potential yet, we are in contact with a publishing company which will hopefully mean that our book will be printed and published, allowing us to also organize a launch event to showcase the results of our hard work.
